Europe 2012: Brussels

Part two of our travel photos is set in Brussels, Belgium. We only spent one day here, taking in the sights and more importantly, the food and drink. From mussel pots to waffles to beer, we took in everything the city had to offer in less than 24 hours.

1. We started our day in the Grand Place

2. The Grand Place was littered with art vendors

3. We couldn’t miss seeing the Mannequin Pis, dresses up a la The Dictator

4. We kicked off our evening with waffles (mines Nutella and Kev”s is strawberry and chocolate)

5. I swear the image is blurry because of low light…

And that, in a nutshell, was our 24 hours stint in Brussels: waffles, beer, and peeing statues.

  1. I remember when we saw the Mannequin Pis… we couldn’t believe that it was so tiny! I still don’t understand what’s the big deal, haha.

  2. What great shots! Did you pick up any art from the vendors in the Grand Palace?

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a waffle craving that I need to take care of…
